Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.
Colossians 2:8
This passage from the Bible really speaks to me… In today’s world, many people are taken captive by "hollow and deceptive philosophy". You often hear about this with young students who attend secular universities. Many of them grow up in Christian homes, often attending church, only to give up the faith of their parents after they go off to college. From there on out, they’re getting their influences sometimes in the wrong places.
